*BN Blamed For New Orleans Floods*
The Mayor of New Orleans has launched a scathing attack on the BNCrew in the wake of untold devastation caused in the city over the last two weeks.

Speaking at a major press conference in the Louisiana superdome, scene of a BN gig just a fortnight ago, Mayor Ventura blamed the BN for waves of rioting and looting which has seen regional government declare a state of emergency. According to the Mayor, Hurricane Katrina is being mis-reported in the mainstream media as a natural disaster whereas in actual fact it is the name for the BN's latest tour. "The media have been reporting the disaster here in New Orleans as a freak weather fluctuation. That is patently untrue. The BN told fans at their gig to run baths and showers non stop in a tribute to their song "Get Flushed in". Mayor Ventura and several right wing social commentators went on to accuse the BN of inciting the violence by flashing images of smiling successful looters from the LA riots, in which the BN are also accused of involvement.
BN spokesman known only as 'Findal' has issued a press release which confused journalists and social commentators alike as it appears to simply be a ten step guide to looting and rioting in a flooded city. Entitled 'Steal what you like', the latest BN publication seems to confirm the accusations of Mayor Ventura.

When asked whether or not this was another bogus press release in a long litany of misinformation by the BN, Findal replied with a string of expletives, most of which were directed at a nearby crèche which had been totally destroyed by the flood waters which now wash through the streets of New Orleans. While major news outlets such as CNN and BBC continue to report the hurricane as the major protagonist in the devastation of New Orleans, it may well come to light that Mayor Ventura's tirade against the BNCrew is well founded. Whatever the cause, reports that the BN are importing Tiger Sharks into the area to 'cull survivors' will not help their reputation in an increasingly tense atmosphere.
