The pair have come under increasing pressure from media watchdog groups who have hit out at their promotion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The adverts, which show edited highlights of both BN members recent drink drive arrests, will be screened exclusively during children's programming and reinforced through a series of appearances in schools across the country.

"We believe that drink driving is on the wane in Ireland today. High profile media campaigns have made it almost a taboo subject whereas people used to be proud to make it home from the pub in one piece. We would like to see a day where people can proud of this achievement once again and deserve the
right to get our message across to the children of today who will, God willing, become the drink drivers of tomorrow" said a highly emotional homeless man who was speaking on behalf of somebody.

The adverts are expected to air for the first time during some show on some channel at some point.
