The attack took place on the 12th of June 2000 but Gardai did not have enough evidence to prove any BN member was involved until earlier this month when a CCTV video was uncovered which clearly depicted BN's Dr. Leo and several others physically abusing Mr. Keating.
It is widely believed that the other people seen assaulting Mr. Keating in the video are also BN members but it is impossible for Gardai to charge them as they were wearing gorilla masks at the time.

Ronan Keating was left with 78% blood loss, 642 stitches, no teeth and a busted anus after the attack which virtually ended the popstars career. He is said to be 'relieved' that at least one BN member was taken off the streets and was quoted as saying, "Well every time a BN member is taken off the streets it means that all of my kind can sleep a little bit easier, although the damage is already done to my rectum".

Since the devastating attack on the former gay Icon & pop star Mr. Keating has lived life as a recluse who excretes in his pants at the mere thought of BN. Dr. Leo is not said to be worried about the charges or the consequence and has released the following statement regarding the matter;"I have complete confidence that all charges regarding Ronan Keating against me will be cleared. The beating I administered to him on the night of 12th June 2000 had absolutely nothing to do with me".
This is certainly not the first time BN members have been accused of assaulting gay icons, since 1981 when Ceb was jailed for the horrific assault on popular gaybo Boy George BN members have chalked up a phenomenal 987 gay icon related charges and even brag about it in their music. It is only expectable that someday soon their unlimited evil will catch up with them too.
