The incident occurred during a gathering to promote the Crew's long awaited new single 'your skin'. Witness' said moments after Francis took to the podium for his hourly state of the union address Gapford stormed the stage in a seemingly unprovoked attack. Francis then assumed the fetal position while Gapplication mercilessly beat him repeatedly with a burgundy samsonite (courtesy of OBH LTD).

The attack lasted for several minutes before other Crew members were bothered to get out of their seats. Staff and Crew were eventually able to restrain Gapford with the aid of a few ratchet straps. He was immediately rushed from the scene to an unknown location in the room immediately beside the incident in plain view of everybody.
Fears have been growing for Gaptron's mental health which seems to have deteriorated since a dispute regarding the amount of hours in a day. Following the incident Bruiser was quoted as saying "these are not the actions of a stable man", Jackstack also threw his two cents in making the rather cryptic statement "maybe you're being bullied by your fashion sense".

Francis is said to have suffered major head and sphincter injuries during the attack and also the old classic detached retinas, he is currently in an induced coma in the back of the transit van on top of some pallets. He was later quoted as saying "Is your source on this reliable" in a mad high pitched voice.
