The Jade Monkey has been threading on thin ice since his capture several days ago. We have been informed that in a final salute to the Jade Monkey he will be tied to a tall stick and paraded around the streets of Dublin for a few hours before finally being mounted atop of 'the spire' on O'Connell street.
In a statement released by BN today the crew said "The jade monkey will be remembered for his quick witted humor and his various charitable donations and also for the fact that he was green", they went on to say "although the jade monkey lead a short and violent life filled with public humiliation and degradation at the hands of the BN Crew, we grew very close to him, it was not our wish to beat him to death it was merely our intention to give him an acute beating in order to humiliate him further. His insubordination was to be the last straw, he was ordered to dance for us and refused to do so. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated in the BN crew".
