The release of the album, which has been described as a free form jazz odyssey, saw queues of up to 6,000 people gathered outside the Virgin megastore in Mutton's hometown of Glasgow, Scotland.

With this album, Mutton intends to build on the successes of his previous albums, 'A very Mutton Christmas', 'Mutton dressed as lamb', 'Full Mutton Jacket', 'Mutton in the morning', 'Dark side of the Mutton', 'Mutton-o-rama' and the now infamous 'I am Mutton, you are nothing.'

Early sales were pushed by the release of Mutton's latest video last week for the song 'Mutton blows the horn'. The video sees BN stalwarts Gayommie and Fidel 'Stoo' Castro beating up a helpless Ian Beale on the set of popular English soap opera 'Eastenders'.
Critics have described the video as a 'disgraceful attempt to court controversy'. The unedited version will be screened on MTV2 this coming Saturday night at midnight, featuring the never before seen ending in which Beale confesses to hating black people for some reason before BN's only ethnic minority Stoo Castro (originally from Afghanistan) puts his boot through the face of Beale.

'In a Mutton mood' is available from most bad record stores and the BN online shop.
